WHAT WE DID.

The C. Baldwin hotel opened in fall of 2019 after an extensive renovation and rebranding (formerly DoubleTree). The new property stands out as a luxury boutique hotel on the downtown Houston skyline. The name shines a light on one of the city’s lesser-known co-founders, Charlotte Baldwin Allen.

RMRK provided lighting design, programming, and on-site support through the opening of the new property. Throughout the day the lights change to set different moods, transforming a bright breakfast dinning environment to happy hour, to dinner, and finally a sultry after hours experience. Chef Chris Cosentino’s menus are not to be missed. The C. Baldwin is unique with the inclusion of a hard-to-find speakeasy 🙂
